I have another commission I just finished and this dog was soooooo much fun to paint. Her name is Chelsea and she was a rescue! She was once a scared flea-infested puppy that was dropped off near a store and she was rescued by a customer who brought her home and changed her life! Just look at those beautiful bright eyes!
This was done on a 10x14 Arches 140 lb rough watercolor paper. I used Holbein watercolors and Princetonbrushes. My favorite is the black velvet series for its fine tip, soft snap, and ability to hold a lot of water.
